One could say that BRICK CITY CHURCH is named after the city where it was founded, Newark, NJ.
To a certain extent this is true. The history of the nickname comes from Newark’s numerous blocks of housing projects. Those housing projects, however, have been torn down.
The church is pretty much, in some areas, torn down, damaged and hurt. There are souls who have no home. We want to re-build and edify God’s kingdom, brick by brick, stone by stone, one person at a time. However, not only in Newark but wherever God leads us.
